Montana ATV Adventures - Full Day or Seasonal 1/2 Rides
Montana ATV Adventures - Guided atv rides through
Full Day Pipestone Ride
We will meet at the Pipestone OHV Recreation Area. Pipestone exit is 13 miles east of Butte, (about 15 minutes) over Homestake Pass, which in itself is a pretty spectacular drive.  As you drive down the east side of the pass, look off to your left and you will see part of the batholith you will be riding in.
At the bottom of the pass you will take Exit 241.  Turn left at the stop sign, go under the freeway, and We are right there across the cattle guard.  I looks like a gravel pit. There will be bathrooms and plenty of parking.
We will be waiting for you.
When you get there we will take some time to familiarize yourself with your ATV, and give you some safety tips. This is all flat and even ground.
From there we will start our ATV adventure!  After about an hour or so, we will arrive at Ringing Rocks .( you should google this, pretty interesting).  We will provide a hammer.
From there we will ride down toward the Jefferson Valley. Here you will be able to see for miles and miles down the Jefferson Valley and the Tobacco-root Mountains and take Some pretty amazing photos while working our way back to Four corners for lunch.  Lunch will be buffet style cold sandwiches, (ham, turkey, salami), cheese and chips, and beverages (bottled water).
The next part of the ride (because we are all pros now, HaHa LOL), the ride will be just a little more advanced than the first half.  And an entirely different type of scenery where your camera will really come into play.
At this time we would like to remind you that we are at close to 6000 feet in elevation and the weather is subject to change at the drop of a hat. Therefore you will want to bring a jacket (windbreaker) gloves, and  closed toe  shoes with socks to keep the tootsies warm. We will provide goggles and each atv will have a rain poncho. If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes, it WILL change, even when you don't want it to.
The photos that can be captured here are like nothing you will find anywhere else.  Here, your camera will certainly pay for itself.  This ride is hard to describe, it is something you have to see for yourself.  We guarantee you won't forget it, and what you see will totally amaze you.  A cold lunch and beverages will be provided, along with helmets and goggles, and bandanas (for dust).  Again, please don't hesitate to call.  We will be happy to tell you all about it.  Call anytime between 9am-9pm MST.  We are waiting for you!! Ask about our off season half day rides. Rich and Tammy.
The fact that we are a small outfit, 7atvs, makes it easy to show you a wonderful and memorable time. We want you back as this area has so much to see and do. We will tell you all about it when we see you. The rest we leave to your imagination. You have to be there.
Your Hosts,
Richard and Tammy Johnson
